Head of Patient Engagement, Rare Disease

Biogen is a global biotechnology company with a major hub in Research Triangle Park. This role leads patient engagement across its rare disease portfolio, including patient support programs, hub services, and specialty pharmacy partnerships. Hybrid, based in RTP.

The work: set strategy that improves access, therapy start, adherence, and long-term outcomes. Manage vendor and specialty pharmacy partners to a clear set of KPIs such as time to first fill. Use data, patient insight, and new support models to keep improving the experience.

They want 12 or more years in pharma, biotech, healthcare services, or specialty pharmacy, with 10 or more leading patient support, access, or hub functions. Rare disease or high-touch specialty experience matters. An MBA is preferred.
