National MSL Director, Gastroenterology

AbbVie is a global biopharmaceutical company with a site in Durham, NC. This role leads the US Medical Science Liaison team for gastroenterology. Virtual office anywhere in the US, with about 25 percent travel.

The work: set the field medical strategy and vision for the GI MSL team. Own MSL training, competency, and the operating budget. Coordinate with Commercial, HEOR, Clinical Development, and the brand team.

They want an advanced science degree, with a doctorate strongly preferred. Five or more years of direct people management and 5 or more years in pharma or biotech are required. Long-term incentive eligible.
