Four downtowns first
He led downtown programs in three California cities and one in South Carolina before Connect Labs.
Rescued a pub
He bought the only place open after 6 p.m. in six blocks of downtown Fresno and grew it from $100,000 to $1 million in two years.
Councilmember, then professor
Fresno City Council, then 12 years teaching urban entrepreneurship at Fresno State. His final exam was a real downtown event.
Was on the radio
He hosted a show on KFSR in Fresno from 2006 to 2008.
Came east with the grandkids
