Charlotte's first gBETA Health cohort is moving into the second half of the program. The five-company group is sharpening investor messaging, tightening pitch decks, and preparing for a public showcase on May 28.

According to Charlotte Business Journal, the original gBETA Charlotte cohort collectively raised $2.2 million and created 69 jobs. That gives this health-focused cohort a useful benchmark as it works toward the same investor-readiness goal.

The current cohort includes 9+1AI, Casandra.ai, Inolyt, Pump for Joy, and SKG Lifesciences.
